A registered pastoral and agro-pastoral led NGO to strengthen the Voices of pastoralists in addressing their rights, concerns and needs for effective feedback mechanism and better understanding. Pastoralist themselves are adaptable and resilient communities and they feel that others take advantage of the intricate knowledge of their environment, the strong sense of identity and cultural heritage to manipulate their concerns during policy making process. Our organization focuses on resource use, disaster risk reduction, gender equality, food & nutrition security in rangeland counties namely Baringo, Elgeyo-marakwet, Samburu, Laikipia and Turkana Counties in Kenya.

Who’s a pastoralists?

Are people who practices pastoralism, a way of life centered around the raising of livestock and basically rely on natural resources to support their survival.. Despite their deep knowledge of the environment and ability to adapt to changing conditions, most of their concerns revolve on advocacy, policy influence and awareness creation efforts to ensure social, economic and cultural recognition for one voice and visibility..

What we do

Efforts are underway to listen and protect the rights of all pastoralists, promote sustainable pastoralism and find solutions to the risks they face.
